Kokuyo Jibun-techo Idea notebooks feature the ultra- lightweight paper. While the paper is no longer Tomoe River, it is still suitable for writing with a fountain pen. The paper is a bit thicker, and has a bit more tooth to it.

Paper pattern is 5mm grid. The notebook measures approximately 4 7/8 inches wide by 8 1/4 inches tall. 80 pages, 40 sheets of paper in each notebook. Cover is coated for durability. Stitched binding.

PLEASE NOTE- THE PAPER IN THIS NOTEBOOK IS NO LONGER TOMOE RIVER. Notebooks ending with the number 2 were Tomoe River paper. The new notebooks end with the number 3.
