Manganese black is a pigment that is created by mixing manganese and iron oxides. The dark color of the pigment is due to jacobsite, and it differs significantly in composition from the classic Attic black. This pigment is stable in both acids and alkalis and at high temperatures, making it an excellent option for industrial applications.

Manganese black is dark in grey and has a bit of charcoal look.
